For our final blog of 2020 we would simply like the chance to just say thank you.
This year has undoubtedly been one of the most challenging we have all faced, and there are many people we owe our gratitude to.
Our customers – the regular clients as well as those who have more recently found us. Ascott has a wide-ranging customer base from individuals at home looking for a single artificial piece to businesses requiring our collaboration on large scale projects in commercial settings, and we enjoy working on all of these, big or small! We love receiving positive feedback and seeing pictures of our work in situ, and we try and share some of these on our website.
Our suppliers – from the UK and European companies who supply our foliage and help us source our natural trunks, to the courier networks we rely on to deliver our beautiful creations around the UK and overseas, and everyone in between. Even throughout these challenging times, the cogs in our supply chain have continued to turn.
Our team – Ascott started as a family business and is still run by a small loyal team encompassing creative, production and office staff to work with customers to understand their requirements and create artificial trees and greenery to fulfil them. The pandemic of 2020 has brought many challenges to working; we had to implement many new processes and work with a smaller workforce but our team spirit has seen us through this difficult year. A few of our bespoke highlights include a huge pink blossom tree to fill a recess ceiling, a stunning red maple tree for a restaurant refurbishment, a set of 13 hedges in our custom made wooden troughs for a nursery, a map crafted from moss, plus several full wall installations of our beautiful ‘living’ wall panels! We have also fulfilled numerous orders for small trees, artificial bouquets, plants and topiary as people have adjusted to more time spent at home.
We look forward to working on new orders and projects in 2021 - we will be in touch in the New Year with more ideas for using artificial greenery. In the meantime, it remains for us to offer our thanks again, and wish you all a happy, safe Christmas.

Sunday 20th December 2020 – Last orders for 2020 dispatch (items subject to availability. Bespoke items may be dispatched in the new year)
Monday 21st December 2020 – Last day for dispatching orders
1pm on Monday 21st December 2020 to Sunday 3rd January 2021 – Ascott office closed for Christmas break
Monday 4th January 2021 – Ascott office reopens, dispatch of orders restarts
